I love to learn.
Learning something new is exciting for me. I grab every opportunity I have that allows me to ask questions. Every question, each inquiry, each new piece of information shows me something about myself and the world in which I live. Learning, discovery, questioning, inquiring are all expressions of self-care for me. Through learning, I explore both inwardly and outwardly.
Al Gini is a Professor of Business Ethics at the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago in his book; Seeking the Truth of Things (ACTA, 2010) he said
“The examined life is the result of self-awareness, self-reflection and ultimately self-knowledge. It is only in coming to know ourselves both our strengths and weaknesses, that we begin to have sympathy, care and concern for other“.
